UTME: No restriction on vehicular movement
Members of the public are hereby informed that the Kwara State modified Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise for the month of April has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th April, 2025 between the hours of seven o'clock and ten o'clock (7:00am to 10:00am) in the morning.
Residents within the state capital and Local Government Areas are therefore enjoined to fully participate in the exercise by clearing both their residential and business environments to ensure a clean and healthy state.
This was contained in a press statement, issued today from the office of the State Commissioner for Environment, Hajia Nafisat Musa Buge, after the pre-sanitation preparatory meeting.
The press statment signed by the Press Secretary of the Ministry, Shakirat Muritala also stated that, Hajia Buge noted the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), adding that the state government is not insensitive to the plight of the students writing the examination across the state.
She, however, assured that as a result of this development, there will free vehicular movement to convey the students to their respective examination centres without hindrances while the security agencies have also been duly informed.
