The senate of the Lagos State University, LASU has appointed Professor Oseni Taiwo Afisi has the new Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics.
Professor Taiwo Afisi, who is a lecturer in the department of Philosophy, defeated his opponent, Professor Maruf Suraqat Animashaun 198 votes to 2 votes, an election which was conducted on Monday 27th of January 2025.
