Newgate University Minna welcomed its final team of accreditors for the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Accounting program.
The university community eagerly anticipates the outcome of the accreditation process, which is expected to further solidify the institution's reputation for quality education and innovation.
During the visit, the accreditation team conducted a thorough assessment of the university's facilities, including the accounting laboratory, library, & administrative offices. They also reviewed relevant documentation and held discussions with academic and administrative staff.
Speaking on behalf of the team, Prof. Aliyu Sulaiman Kantudu stated that their mission was to enhance the quality of the program while identifying both strengths and areas for improvement. He commended the university for its innovative curriculum.
Prof. Yusuf assured the team of the university’s full cooperation during the accreditation process, adding, "Your observations and recommendations are highly welcomed and will be diligently implemented."
In his welcome address, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sadiq Yusuf, expressed gratitude for the team's visit. He acknowledged the university's relatively young status but emphasized its unwavering commitment to maintaining high academic standards.
The team was led by Prof. Aliyu Sulaiman Kantudu from Bayero University Kano, with members Prof. Obioma Onyeaghda from Federal University Wukari and Mustapha Jauro Audu, representing the National Universities Commission (NUC).
