The LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) for the admitted candidates into Lagos State University School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) for the 2024/2025 academic session has since commenced on Wednesday, 13th November 2024 and would end on Monday, 2nd December 2024. All successful candidates are thereby enjoined to complete their LACACA operation before the deadline.
At the end of the LACACA operation, successful candidates will be assigned matriculation numbers, while unsuccessful candidates will be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admission.
The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited; therefore, all participating and admitted candidates in the 2024/2025 academic session must pay the required clearance fee through the LASU e-payment portal.
Candidates are required to have made payments for acceptance, medical, and LACACA fees before commencing online clearance.
PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF LACACA CLEARANCE FEES
I. Visit lasu.edu.ng/consult
II. Enter your Application Number in the field labelled "Matriculation Number/Application Number."
III. Provide a valid email address and phone number.
IV. Click Continue.
STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH TO COMPLETE THE LACACA OPERATION
1. Visit the LASU Website – https://www.lasu.edu.ng
2. Hover over the STUDENT tab and click on SPTS LACACA.
3. Enter your Application Form Number and surname, then click Submit.
Candidates are expected to complete the following on the dashboard:
a. Validate your basic bio-data details.
b. Verify your disability status.
c. Upload O’Level scratch card details.
d. Upload your original birth certificate.
e. Upload your original SPTS admission letter.
f. Upload your scanned signature.
g. Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box, and then click Submit.
4. At this stage, the admission clearance progresses to 20%, and the documents will be submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated university officials.
5. Candidates should check the progress of their admission clearance, as necessary attention may be required based on the uploaded documents.
6. Candidates with errors requiring correction will need to pay for such corrections on the LASU payment portal – https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment.
7. Upon reaching 100% clearance progress, successful candidates will be able to print the LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2024/2025 academic session and will be assigned a matriculation number.
Note: The online clearance will commence on Wednesday,13th November 2024, and will last for a period of two weeks. Admitted candidates that fail to complete the LACACA operations within the two (2) weeks period will be deemed to have forfeited the admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Rejected students are advised to check their portal and note the reasons for rejection. Some may need to visit the SPTS Office for further guidance.
NOTE: Candidates that made use of NECO O’Level results are expected to visit NECO E-verify portal and request that their e-verified NECO results be sent to dict.verification@lasu.edu.ng
