The Lagos State University has suspended admissions into the Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme for full-time regular students for the 2024/2025 academic session.

This decision was taken after robust and extensive deliberations by the University Senate at its meeting held on Friday, 15th November 2024. The Senate noted the following as reasons for the suspension of the programme:

i. The need to reorganise the Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme to enhance its relevance and better align it with industry demands and global practices and standards; and

ii. The necessity to update the curriculum to include skills that improve students’ employability and career prospects in the evolving job market.

As a result, candidates admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session under the Full-Time Degree with Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme (Stream 2) will automatically be transferred to the Full-Time Degree Programme (Stream 1), which does not include the Entrepreneurship Programme.

Please note that all candidates admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session will now pursue the Full-Time Degree Programme without the Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme (Stream 2) and will only be required to pay the fees applicable to this programme.

Returning students who have been on the Stream 2 Full-Time Degree with Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme (presently in 200, 300, 400, and 500 levels) will continue the programme until graduation.

All stakeholders are advised to take note of this important information.
