Degree Durations:
- Full-Time Master's: 3-6 semesters (minimum to maximum)
- Part-Time Master's: 4-8 semesters (minimum to maximum)
- Full-Time Ph.D.: 6-10 semesters (minimum to maximum)
- Part-Time Ph.D.: 8-12 semesters (minimum to maximum)
Registration: Successful candidates are expected to register their postgraduate courses immediately after being offered admission at the beginning of the session.
Application Procedure:
1. Pay a non-refundable N20,000 application fee.
2. Complete the online application at http://funai.edu.ng
Referee Reports:
- Download online Referee Report forms.
- Submit these forms to three referees, with one being a former lecturer.
- Ensure that sealed envelopes are returned to the School of Postgraduate Studies.
Forwarding Academic Transcripts:
- Download academic transcript request slips provided online.
- Request your universities or institutions to forward a copy of your last academic transcripts to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State. Ensure this is done no later than two weeks from the application form deadline.
Submission of Application Forms:
- Submit your completed application forms along with relevant documents in an envelope marked "PG Admission." Ensure that the following documents are enclosed in a file jacket and then placed in a 10" x 15" size brown envelope before submission:
- NYSC certificate (Discharge or Exemption or Exclusion certificate)
- All educational credentials, including FSLC
- L.G.A. letter of identification
- Birth certificate
- Evidence of payment of the Application form fee

Closing Date: The sale of online Application Forms will conclude six weeks from the publication date, running from 23rd October, 2023, to 23rd December, 2023.
Important Note:
- After completing your online admission subscription, print the hard copy and send it to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, AE-FUNAI, along with other relevant documents.
- All applicants are required to undergo a paper and pen postgraduate admission screening test.
- For Ph.D. applicants, in addition to scoring a minimum of 50% in the test, you must submit a proposal for your preferred area of specialization with your application forms. You will also be invited for an oral examination, the date of which will be communicated to you via SMS.
