DVC Academic, Professor Olubunmi Abayomi Omotesho, Honoured with prestigious NAAE Fellowship 🏅
In acknowledgment of his remarkable contributions, the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE), has conferred a Fellowship on the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Ilorin, Professor Olubunmi Abayomi Omotesho.. 🌾
This remarkable conferment took place at the 23rd Annual Conference of the NAAE, hosted by Kwara State University, Malete, last Tuesday (October 17, 2023).
In his congratulatory message, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, expressed his optimism that Prof. Omotesho will not only bring his valuable expertise but also elevate the Institute to greater heights. 🚀
Professor Omotesho, who is a Fellow of the Nigerian Association of Evaluators, also belongs to many professional bodies, including the International Farm Management Association, the Agricultural Society of Nigeria, the Nigerian Rural Sociological Association, and Agricultural Economics Society, United Kingdom, among others.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Prof. Suleiman Ambali (Deputy Vice Chancellor, Management Services), Mr. Mansur Alfanla (Registrar), Mr. Olalekan Hakeem Sonde (Bursar), Dr. Kamaldeen Tunde Omopupa (University Librarian), and Dr. Kemi Omotesho, the honoree's wife, along with other notable individuals who joined us to celebrate this significant recognition.
